New Delhi: While Ben Stokes was outstanding in the field for England in the final of ICC World Twenty20 2016, little would he have known that he would be left in tears after the match.
Windies needed 19 runs off 6 balls in the final over, and while the momentum had shifted in England's favour, Carlos Brathwaite tonked Stokes for four consecutive sixes to pull off a stunning win.
With every six, Stokes body language dropped and he was on his haunches after the third six.
Here is what the English all-rounder tweeted after the summit clash:
Overwhelmed by all the support of everyone after a disappointing last over.....So proud to of represented my country in a World Cup final...
