New Delhi, March 30: India slipped to the eighth spot while Australia regained the top spot in the one-day team ratings of the latest Maruti Suzuki Cricket Ratings released here Friday.
Australia, with 93 rating points, rode back to the top with a solid first round performance in the ongoing World Cup where they have maintained a clean slate so far and have also defeated South Africa in the first round. South Africa are now second with 91 points.
After suffering a first round exit from the World Cup, India with 42 points are ranked eighth while neighbours Pakistan, who also suffered the same fate, are seventh with 47 points.
Sri Lanka are in third place with 77 points followed by New Zealand (69) and West Indies (63) in the fourth and fifth place respectively.
The Aussies continue to lead the Test rankings as well with 131 points.
The Test rankings remain unaffected with no matches played due to the ongoing World Cup. Sri Lanka are placed second with 103 points while South Africa are close behind with 100 points.
