New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) left no stone unturned to promote the India-South African series as a marquee event.
Despite the intense battles on the pitch during the T20 and ODI series, it was quite clear that there is no rivalry between the two sides.
Unlike in Indo-Pak or the Ashes contests, there were no controversies or unnecessary altercations.
The matches so far have been played with a tremendous sporting spirit with all players displaying admirable levels of respect for each other.
Thanks to the IPL, Indian cricketers share great friendships with South African players.
The Proteas love playing in India and the fans across the country cheer the likes of AB de Villiers as one of their own.
After winning the fifth ODI and series at the Wankhede Stadium, Cricket South Africa released a short video of their team's tour diary shot in Rajkot.
The video titled 'The Most Hospitable Hotel' highlights the wonderfully warm treatment received by the visitors during their time in Rajkot for the 2nd ODI.
