India vs WICB President’s XI, Warm-up: India wrap-up Day 1 on 258/3

New Delhi: At stumps on day 1, India secured a total of 258/3 in the two-day warm-up match against WICB president XI. Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan scored half-centuries, while Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Wriddhiman Saha were the only wickets to fall.

A total of eight players from the Indian batting order got a chance to play by the end of the 2-day warm-up tie.

For WICB President's XI, Jomel Warrican and Damion Jacobs were the pick of the bowlers with two and one wickets respectively.

India will play two warm-up games against the President's XI before their four-Test series against West Indies.

The first Test starts on July 21 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
