IPL 2015, Match 47, CSK vs RR: Players to watch out for

New Delhi: Hosts Chennai Super Kings will face third placed Rajasthan Royals in Match 48 of the Indian Premier League T20. CSK have won seven games from eleven matches and are looking for a home win to get back to top of the table.

Meanwhile, RR have been good so far too in all departments so far winning six, losing four and with two matches getting washed away. They have played one game more than their rivals.

CSK lost their last home game against the Mumbai Indians where they lost the game by five wickets. RR come to this game after losing against Sunrisers Hyderabad at home. They too have an eye on getting back atop of the table as they trail KKR by a solitary point.

A win for Shane Watson's side will help them be in the mix for a top two finish. For Mahendra Singh Dhoni, picking up two points will be of similar interests with that of RR. CSK will be hoping to make the home game conditions work in their favour.

The last time RR and CSK met in April 2015, the former won the match quite comfortable in the end.

As two IPL sides clash looking to gain similar grounds, we highlight a key player from each side who could help his side emerge victorious at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Dwayne Bravo (CSK)

The West Indian has been CSK's key man so far chipping in with the ball. Even in the field he has been lively. Bravo has taken 17 wickets so far and has bowled exceptionally well. With the bat he has had a poor campaign though apart from a 62* earlier against the RR. The West Indies all-rounder will be the key again down the order. He has all the abilities to win the game on his own and has been instrumental against most sides so far with the ball. Bravo will hope to contribute once again and be in the mix of things.

Ajinkya Rahane (RR)

The Indian stalwart has been the best batsman of the tournament so far and his application against the in-form CSK bowlers will be the key. Rahane has amassed 438 runs and leads the top scoring charts. Rahane's free-flowing bat has contributed to RR's success in the campaign and they will be depending on him to give the side another solid platform. RR's strength have been their batting and Rahane's consistency has been the major highlight of the tourney so far. He will hope to get off to another good start against CSK.
