New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Gautam Gambhir is often criticised for taking his surname (Gambhir) too seriously.
The left-hander, who is hailed as a fantastic leader by his team-mates, has revealed an interesting fact.
In a chat show with comedian Vikram Sathaye called ‘What The Duck’, Gambhir revealed how he takes out his frustration on toothbrushes.
“My mood depends on how I treat my toothbrushes. Being a skipper is a strenuous job, and when you are going through a rough phase, obviously you start taking out your frustration, you can’t take it out on anyone, you can’t take it out on your teammates or your wife. The only person that is left is your toothbrush,” he said.
Gambhir has led KKR to two Indian Premier League (IPL) titles in the past.
