IPL 9: In-form Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli sets yet another T20 record

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli who has been going through a purple patch with the willow, achieved yet another world record in Twenty20 cricket on Sunday.

The dashing cricketer has now become the only batsman in the shortest format of the game to score 75 runs or more in four consecutive innings.

Kohli has scored 82*, 89*, 75, 79 in his last four T20 innings.

On Sunday, while leading IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kohli hit 79 against Delhi Daredevils to make the sensational record in slam-bang cricket.

The Delhi-born cricketer has carried on his World Twenty20 form in the ninth edition of the IPL.

After winning Man-of-the-series for amassing 273 runs in five innings of the WT20, Kohli has started off the IPL season with a bang.

In the first two matches of the IPL, Kohli has scored 75 and 79 to show his never dying hunger to score runs in every match.

However, his 79-run knock against DD went in vain last night as his team lost the game by seven wickets, with five balls to spare.
