Revealed: Why a hotel in Kanpur refused to provide rooms to KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan!

New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders' co-owner Shah Rukh Khan might not cheer his team from the stands during their next game against Gujarat Lions as a hotel in Kanpur refused to provide rooms to the Bollywood superstar.

King Khan wanted to book Hotel Landmark in Kanpur for the upcoming IPL match of his team, which is scheduled for May 19.

If media reports are to be believed, then, SRK needed at least eight rooms for the team but the manager of Hotel Landmark, Vikas Malhotra, informed his personal assistant over the phone on Monday night that all the rooms were occupied.

Landmark is reported to be the only five star hotel available in the city, which has been already booked by the BCCI.

Two IPL matches are scheduled to take place at Green Park in Kanpur.
