New Delhi: Amir Hussain Lone from Kashmir is a braveheart. Despite losing both his arms in a tragic accident aged just eight years old at his father’s sawmill, he continued to played cricket.

Lone bowls with his toes, but batting involves holding the bat between his neck and shoulder. And he is already a star in his own rights.

Now a 26-year-old budding cricketer, Amir is the captain of the Jammu and Kashmir para-cricket team. But his dream is to represent the Indian national team and play like his idol, Sachin Tendulkar.

“I am a supporter of Sachin Tendulkar. He is my inspiration and I want to play like him. My dream is to play for the national team,” he told the Mirror.
