My job is to perform any role assigned to me: Wriddhiman

Chennai: India`s reserve wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha is not bothered about the limited chances that he is getting and is keen on performing any role assigned to him by the team management.

However on the day, one of Wriddhiman`s answer did provide a bit of comic relief for those present to cover the CSK training.

When he was asked to comment on the now clichéd question about Indian team playing excessive cricket, the Bengal stumper`s answer had everybody trying to suppress their grin.

"They are professionals and they have to know how to jumble (he wanted to mean juggle)."

Dhoni`s understudy said that CSK will work hard in order to defend the title they won last year and informed that there are no fitness issues concerning the team.

Being specialist `keeper, it`s not always easy to field in the outfield but he has no complaints.”

"My job is to perform any duties that the team management assigns me and I try giving my hundred percent."

Saha admitted that playing at Chepauk is a huge advantage as CSK have hardly lost any match at the venue.

He has been a regular reserve keeper with both CSK and Indian team but not getting too many chances hasn`t really bogged him down.

"The team comes first. My job is to try and perform whenever one gets an opportunity," he said.

Team manager Russell Radhakrishnan informed that skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina will arrive tomorrow evening while Suraj Randiv and Michael Hussey will be joining late in the evening today.
