No need of foreign cricket coach: Manohar Joshi

Nagpur, March 27: Indian cricket coach Greg Chappell`s stint should not be extended following World Cup, Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Cricket Association, President Manohar Joshi said.

Indian cricket team does not need a foreign coach and the responsibility should be given to any former player, Joshi said.

Commenting on Indian team`s debacle in the World Cup, Joshi who was here to campaign for party nominee for Ramtek by-election, said present coach Greg Chappell should not be
continued.

Asked to comment on BCCI chief Sharad Pawar, he said, "Don’t ask me questions on his continuance as chief of BCCI since my party has opened doors for him to join the alliance,"
Joshi added.
