New Delhi: After Delhi beat Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a video surfaced that showed Gautam Gambhir avoiding a handshake with MS Dhoni as players from both sides exchanged pleasantries.
The video uploaded by an individual named Kapil Bahel was picked up by sections of media, suggesting that all was not well between the duo.
However, the Delhi skipper on Monday took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to clarify on the incident.
Gambhir posted two pictures that clearly show there was a handshake between him and Dhoni.
The left-hander also lashed out at the media for not verifying facts and creating an unnecessary controversy.
