Oz media says Clarke had right to think comment wouldn`t be broadcast

Sydney: The Australian media has claimed that Michael Clarke has a fair argument if he wants to protest his fine over his volcanic sledge at James Anderson because it is an ICC broadcasting protocol that stump mics be turned down between balls.

According to News.com.au, it is one of those rules that is loosely enforced and sometimes not adhered to as much as it should be by broadcasters around the world though for Channel Nine it is a rare error.
