New Delhi: Cricket Australia's decision to rest skipper Steve Smith for the remainder of the ODI series against Sri Lanka was criticised by several former Aussie cricketers.
Many, including Michael Slater and Michael Clarke, felt that the leader of the pack should have either not played the ODIs or completed the full series.
After criticism from players back home, the highly-rated Smith was on Friday trolled by South Africans Graeme Smith and Dale Steyn.
