The front-runner for India's bowling coach job will surprise you!

New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils skipper Zaheer Khan has since long been tipped to takeover as India's next bowling coach.

According to a report in The Hindu however, Indian team's T20I pacer Ashish Nehra now leads the race to take up that job.

Nehra and Zak share a great equation and have helped several young Indian bowlers in the past.

The report further adds that BCCI is likely to renew contracts of B. Arun and Sanjay Bangar as assistant coaches before the tour of Zimbabwe in June.

Nehra's fitness and form has been credited as a major factor in MS DHoni-led side's strong show in T20Is this year.

Recently, SunRisers Hyderbad pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar too heaped praise on Nehra for helping him in the nets.

The veteran Delhi pacer has plenty of experience and his inclusion to India's coaching team will no doubt come as a boost to India's inconsistent bowling department.
