Last Monday, English Test skipper Alastair Cook became the youngest batsman to score 10,000 Test runs, breaking Tendulkar's previous record.
On Day 4 of the second Test match vs Sri Lanka, Cook hit pacer Nuwan Pradeep for a boundary to reach the milestone.
