New Delhi: Former South African skipper Graeme Smith, who was Zaheer Khan's bunny, wished him post the speedster's retirement.

Smith, who retired from international cricket last year, congratulated Zaheer on a wonderful career in the most sporting manner.

Zaheer, who announced his retirement on Thursday, was a nighmare for left-handers, especially for Smith.

Key highlights of Zaheer's career:

Zaheer Khan made his ODI debut on October 3, 2000 vs Kenya at Nairobi. It was a memorable debut for him, as he picked three wickets for 48 runs in 10 overs.

Zaheer played 200 ODIs for India and picked 282 wickets.

He made his Test debut against Bangladesh at Dhaka in 2000.

In whites, Zaheer played 92 matches and picked 311 wickets.
