Brazil looked set to open the Swiss floodgates, but a header by Switzerland's Steven Zuber turned the match into Switzerland’s foothold.

Rostov-on-Don: After Philippe Coutinho scored the opening goal with a curling shot from distance, Brazil looked set to open the Swiss floodgates, but a header by Switzerland's Steven Zuber turned the match into Switzerland’s foothold. Switzerland will take away a lot of confidence with the 1-1  draw and would fancy their chances to qualify for the knockout stages. Heavyweights have all stumbled in their opening matches, Germany went down 1-0 to Mexico and Argentina had to settle with a 1-1 draw against minnows Iceland. The Samba boys need to take some time out to figure out their routine as they face Costa Rica and Serbia next. For now, Serbia enjoys the top spot in Group E.

76 minute: The Brazilians are forced to shoot from distance. Neymar finds some space outside the penalty box, but shoots it directly into the hands of the goalkeeper. 

74 minute: The Swiss defenders have been brilliant in the second half as they cramp Neymar for space. 

73 minute:  Gabriel Jesus goes down in the penalty box but the referee shows no interest there. Plays on. No Penalty. 

69 minute: Substitution for Switzerland! Zakaria replaces the tired Behrami.

68 minute: Coutinho had a chance there to take the lead but shoots it wide. 

67 minute: Yellow card! Third booking for Switzerland. Behrami gets a yellow card for bring Neymar down. 

66 minute: Substitution for Brazil. Augusto replaces Paulinho. 

65 minute: Corner for Brazil. Switzerland defends well. 

64 minute: Yellow card! Switzerland player gets a yellow card for pulling Neymar's shirt. 

63 minute: Switzerland are looking to threaten in the right-flank. Brazil look tense.

39 minute: Though Brazil have been impressive with their play and Switzerland show no signs of panic as they try and create space up-front.

31 minute: Yellow card! Lichtsteiner concedes a free-kick to Brazil after a bad foul on Neymar, gets booked. 

29 minute: Switzerland are attacking but are giving away the ball up-front. 

28 minutes: Switzerland try to create space from the left-flank but Marcelo slides to clear the ball. 

23 minute: Corner for Switzerland! Can they breach the Brazillian defence? Not yet, as the ball gets cleared. 

22 minute: Brazil's Coutinho has electrified the Rostov Arena with his goal. Brazil will hunt for more.
