Kazan, Russia: What a day for South Korea, they steal a historic 2-0 victory against the defending champions. Germany are knocked out of the World Cup, for the first time since 1938, after two late goals by Kim Young-Gwon and Son Heung-Min. South Korea become the first Asian team to beat Germany at a World Cup. The jinx stands, once again a defending champion fails to get past the group stages for the fourth time in five World Cups.
