Euro 2016 QF1: Top players to watch out for as Poland face Portugal in the first quarter-final

New: Delhi: The first quarter-final of UEFA Euro 2016 sees two of Europe's best forward go head-to-head, vying for a place in the semi-finals of the esteemed tournament. From the first onwards, focus will be on Lewandowski and Ronaldo, though fans have to admit that both are not in their best of form.

Cristiano Ronaldo: The Portuguese captain has be below-par in France, with exception of his performance against Hungary where he scored two goals to guide his side into the quarter-finals. Though Ronaldo is used to handling extreme pressure and weight of responsibilities on his shoulders, Poland seems to be a tough bullet to bite as compared to the sides Portugal have already faced. The 31-year-old has always led from the front whenever his teams have been in dire need, we'll have to wait and watch if it will be the same case tonight or his teammates will step-up to share responsibilities.

Robert Lewandowski: The wait for a goal for the Polish No. 9 has brought him to the quarter-finals. This might be the last chance for Lewandowski to end the drought as an under-par performance can lead to exit. Portugal defence has been the most inconsistent so far and might be an easier nut to crack for the Bayern Munich forward in comparison to the teams he has already faced. Lewandowski, who is touted as Europe's best striker will not get a better opportunity to re-assert his striking prowess and leadership skills in tonight's match.
