With 11 pole positions and another world championship title, Hamilton was unstoppable this year.
Along with Nico Rosberg, the Briton helped his team seal 15 front-row lockouts out of a total of 19 - a new all-time F1 record.
His volatile working relationship with Rosberg continued to make to headlines, but that didn't deter the 30-year-old from going for broke in all their duels.
From signing a multi-million pound deal with Mercedes in May to partying with Rihanna in August, Hamilton showed by he is the biggest showman in F1 at the moment.
