New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Indian athletes who will be representing the country in the forthcoming Olympics at Rio.
Athletes seemed elated while meeting the PM. After the meeting, ace Indian shuttler, PV Sindhu, said the meeting the PM ahead of the biggest multi-sporting event was motivating.
“Meeting PM Modi was motivating and encouraging, hope to bring at least 2 to 3 medals.” Sindhu told ANI.

Excited athletes also took selfies with the PM at the end of the programme.
Before the meet, ace Indian shooter, Abhinav Bindra had also expressed his delight by tweeting.
