TRAI reiterates its proposals on 3G spectrum pricing
Standing by its proposals on 3G base pricing, sectoral regulator TRAI Thursday reiterated that enough spectrum in 2100 MHz should be made available for the February auction as otherwise it will "artificially increase" the market price in the band.

TRAI keeps 3G spectrum base price unchanged, auction in February
Telecom regulator TRAI on Thursday kept the base price of 3G spectrum unchanged at Rs 2,720 crore per megahertz stating all spectrum in 2100 MHz band will be auctioned in February.

DoT panel for higher 3G base price than recommended by TRAI
The TRAI, using SBI PLR, worked out the indexed price of Rs 4,874.59 crore per megahertz. In 2010, the final 3G spectrum rate paid by telecom operators was Rs 3,349.87 crore per megahertz.
