Airline losses to come down 35 to Rs 5,500 crore this FY: ICRA
Low crude prices, increasing efficiency and rising air traffic will help the domestic airlines bring down their losses massively this fiscal to around Rs 5,500 crore from around Rs 8,500 crore last year, says an analyst report.

Airlines trim losses by 30%, Indigo reports record profit
Lower fuel prices have helped domestic carriers to trim their combined losses by an estimated 30 percent at USD 1.21-1.27 billion in fiscal 2015, while budget carrier IndiGo reported an estimated record USD 150-175 million profit during the period, according to an industry report.
