Citizens with mild or medium colour blindness can now get Driving Licence
The Ministry took up this issue with the medical expert Institution and also sought their advice. The recommendations received were to allow mild to medium colour blind citizens to be allowed to drive and put restrictions only on the severe colour blind citizens from driving.

Motorists can show documents on DigiLocker, mParivahan app
According to a senior Road Transport Ministry official, motorists can produce documents using DigiLocker or mParivahan mobile app.

All new vehicles to be pre-fitted with high security registration plates from April 2019
