Meet 1390 Km-Long India's Longest Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 12, 2023. At nearly 1,390 km, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be India's longest expressway and will reduce travel time between Delhi and Mumbai from 18 hours to 12 hours. It is likely to be completed by March 2023 and is being built as part of the first phase of the 'Bharatmala Pariyojana'. The eight-lane expressway, expandable to 12 lanes, will be covering covering Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari claimed said that the Delhi-Mumbai expressway is his dream project and he hope to reduce travel time from Nariman Point in Mumbai to Delhi to only 12 hours.

Mai fokat class ka samarthan nahi karta: Nitin Gadkari on demand for toll tax exemption

“Mai fokat class ka smarthan nahi karta. Ye dhandha band hona chahiye,” Gadkari said while responding to a question related to the demand for exemption from toll tax by certain section of people.
