Deoria shelter home case to be handed over to CBI: CM Yogi Adityanath
The Deoria incident came to light after a girl escaped from the shelter home and informed the police how they were all treated like servants. The Deoria Police also arrested a man and his wife, who were managers at the shelter home.

"A 21-year-old woman has been recovered from the old age home in Rani Diha area of Gorakhpur. As per the entry in the register, she was brought here on August 5," additional district magistrate Prabhu Nath said.

4 arrested, DPO terminated in Deoria shelter home sex scandal case
Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested four people in connection with the Deoria shelter home sex scandal case. Assuring that the other accused will soon be arrested, the District Magistrate said that the DPO (District Probation officer) has also been terminated.
