Auto sales decline by 12.7% in October; marginal gain for PV segment: SIAM data
Despite the festive season uptick in sales, domestic vehicle sales across all categories have declined by 12.76 per cent in October to 21.76 lakh units compared to 24.94 lakh units in the year-ago period, according to the latest data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) on Monday.

Similarly, domestic car sales declined 2.01 percent to 1,55,159 units, compared with 1,58,338 in December 2017.

Motorcycle sales last month jumped by 12.93 percent to 11,35,699 units as against 10,05,654 units in August 2016.
