According to WHO, the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) will be meeting on October 5 to grant emergency use authorisation (EUA) to Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin.

"On August 5, 2021 Johnson & Johnson Pvt Ltd applied for EUA of its single-dose COVID-19 vaccine to the government of India," a Johnson & Johnson India spokesperson said in a statement.

Zydus Cadila seeks emergency use approval for COVID vaccine for 12 years old and above
