Chennai oil spill: Environment Ministry to issue show cause notice to Kamarajar port
Ministry sources said that the clearing of the oil is at an "advance" stage and a team of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) also visited the port for monitoring the situation.

90% spill cleared, fish safe for consumption: Tamil Nadu CM on Chennai oil spill
Visiting the site of the massive oil spill here, Tamil Nadu Chief Minsiter O Panneerselvam on Sunday assured that the incident had not affected the marine life in any way and the fish could be consumed, adding that over 90% of the spill had been cleared up.

Chennai: Indian Oil`s R&D advised to take part in containment of oil spill
The incident took place on January 28 when `M T BW Maple` was leaving after emptying Liquefied Petroleum Gas and M T Dawn, Kanchipuram, was on its way to berth at the Ennore port.
