Court issues summons to SECL, officials for green violation
A local court in Raigarh district has issued summons to South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) and its five senior officials on the pleas filed by Chhattisgarh government alleging violation of environmental norms by producing coal more than the sanctioned capacity in its Chhal and Baraud coal mines in the state during 2007-2012.
