The IMD report said the cyclone is very likely to move nortwestward till May 1 and thereafter recurve north- northeastward towards Odisha coast.

The Odisha State Disaster Management Authority has been asked to keep a close watch over the situation and asked concerned departments to stay in all preparedness to deal with any possible strike of the cyclone.
