Gold extends slide on weak global cues, muted demand
Gold prices fell by Rs 225 to Rs 29,575 per ten grams at the bullion market today, tracking a weak trend overseas amid subdued demand from jewellers at domestic spot market.

Jewellers extend pan-India strike till March 7
Jewellers, protesting throughout the country against the government proposal to re-impose 1 per cent excise duty, have decided to extend their strike till March 7, industry body GJF said today.
