Delhi court dismisses plea seeking FIR against Ramdev for falsely claiming to have found cure for COVID-19

A Delhi court on Thursday dismissed a plea that sought to lodge an FIR against yoga guru Ramdev for falsely claiming that his firm Patanjali has found a cure for coronavirus COVID-19, noting that one case has already been registered. No FIR can be lodged against Ramdev at Vasant Vihar police station in Delhi as an FIR has already been filed in the same matter in Rajasthan's Jaipur.

Centre's online education guidelines for school heads, teachers, parents and students

The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) on Tuesday announced guidelines for online classes by schools and recommended a cap on screen time for students. On the appropriate screen time, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that two online sessions of up to 45 minutes will be held each for classes 1-8, and four sessions for classes 9-12. He said that COVID-19 pandemic has led to the closure of schools and has impacted over 240 million children of the country who are enrolled in schools.
