Cold wave grips Delhi, minimum temperature recorded at 7 degree Celsius

The air quality showed a slight improvement with the overall AQI at 208. The nearby regions of Noida, Gurugram also saw improvement with AQI recorded at 281 and 199 respectively.

January 2020 records highest rainfall in 10 years in Delhi, cold wave to hit again

The mercury level is also likely to dip on January 18 which will again bring back cold wave condition in Delhi and nearby regions. The temperature, which was recorded at 11-degree celsius on January 16, which is likely to drop at six-degree Celsius on January 17.

Delhi-NCR battles cold wave, AQI remains at 'very poor'

The Air Quality Index continued to remain at 'very poor' category with 307 mark. The air quality at Chandi Chowk was recorded at 540 unde the 'severe' category. The NCR region of Noida and Gurgaon face similar pollution levels with AQI at 337 and 306 respectively.

Delhi records lowest temperature in last 22 years

The Palam area of Delhi also saw a severely cold day recording temperature at 15.5 degrees. According to the weather forecast, there are chances of very light rain which is likely to occur over Delhi NCR on December 21 due to this Western Disturbance.

IMD: Cyclone Bulbul will weaken into depression during next 12 hours

Cyclone Bulbul will move east-northeastwards and weaken into a depression over coastal Bangladesh and neighbourhood during the next 12 hours, added the IMD. According to the Department of Disaster Management and Civil Defence, West Bengal, seven persons have died and around 4.65 lakh people are affected in the state.
