The seer is the main accused and hostel warden Rashmi is named as accused number two. Junior pontiff Basavaditya, Paramashivaiah, Mahalinga, Gangadharaiah and Karibasappa are also named in the FIR. Two new names have also come up in this FIR.

Karnataka: Lingayat mutt seer sent to 5-day police custody in sexual assault case
The police had sought 5 days` custody of the accused seer for investigation. Ruling out all possibilities of shifting the seer to Bengaluru hospital, the court rapped authorities for shifting him to the hospital without the court`s permission.
