Google Inc has offered to invest at least 1 trillion won ($880.29 million) to help South Korea`s LG Display Co Ltd boost output of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens for smartphones, the Electronic Times reported on Monday citing unnamed sources.

LG Display to spend $908 million for new plastic OLED plant
South Korea`s LG Display Co Ltd said on Thursday that it will invest 1.05 trillion won ($908 million) to build a new local plastic organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display production plant, ramping up spending for the next-generation technology.
