Maharashtra: All services except essential ones to be shut after 8 pm

New restrictions will come into force in Maharashtra from 8 pm on Wednesday night. The government has implemented section 144 of the CrPC in the entire state, under which the gathering of more than five people will be banned at one place. It has been called a type of curfew in which people will be barred from leaving home unless there is any urgent or essential work.
