Minority panel issues notice to JNU over prof's remarks on Dalits, Muslims
The National Commission for Minorities has issued a notice to JNU authorities over a professor's alleged remarks calling Dalits and Muslim teachers "anti-national", days after the National Commission for Scheduled Caste issued a similar notice.

Man killed for allegedly eating beef in Greater Noida; minority panel seeks report
The Uttar Pradesh government has given Rs 10 lakh as ex- gratia to the family of a Muslim man from a Greater Noida village who was killed by a mob for allegedly eating beef. The National Commission for Minorities on Wednesday asked the Noida district magistrate to file a report on the incident.
