After the Centre banned PFI for 5 years under UAPA, Delhi Police has increased its activity in several areas of Delhi. 30 people with PFI links have been arrested so far from Shaheen Bhagh and Nizamuddin areas

The Police cordoned off some areas by placing barricades and are monitoring the movement of people through drones. A World Health Organisation (WHO) team also reached the spot to supervise and monitor people.
