IRCTC rule allowing only 6 train tickets per user in a month set to change?
To curb misuse, IRCTC announced a new rule in January on e-booking of tickets through IRCTC website.There are reports that the rule, which was not received well by the genuine users, is likely to change, and may redress some genuine grievances.

Online train ticket bookings touch 13.45 lakh on April 1
A record 13.45 lakh rail tickets were booked online on the first day yesterday when the new rule of the railways came into force, allowing passengers to book tickets 120 days in advance rather than 60 days.

Restrictions on online train ticket booking
Now only one train ticket can be booked online with one log-in after which the booking session will expire during the peak hours.
