Govt extends ban on International passenger flights until further notice
Scheduled international passenger flights have been suspended in India since March 23, 2020, following the outbreak of the Covid-19.

"In partial modification of circular dated June 26, 2020, the competent authority has further extended the validity... Regarding scheduled international commercial passenger services to and from India till 23.59 pm IST of March 31, 2021," the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a circular.

However, special flights have been permitted under air bubbles since July 2020. According to the statement, three categories of passengers would be permitted to travel from India to Russia under this bubble.
