Childhood trauma Could Lead To Increased Risk Of Complications During Pregnancy, Says Study
According to a pooled data analysis of the available evidence published in the open access journal BMJ Open, childhood trauma, such as abuse, emotional neglect, and exposure to domestic violence, may increase a woman's subsequent risk of pregnancy complications, as well as giving birth to a low birthweight or premature baby.
