Railways earnings up by over 12%
Continuing the growth trajectory, railways have earned Rs 1,28,928.28 crore during April 2014- January 2015 as compared to Rs 1,14,428.52 cr during the same period last year, registering an increase of 12.67 per cent.

Despite a decline in the number of passenger bookings, Railways has earned Rs 1,00,622 crore during April-November 2014 as compared to Rs 89,341.26 crore during the same period last year, registering an increase of 12.63 percent.
