Quran Burning: Turkey Postpones Trilateral Meeting With Sweden, Finland
The decision came a day after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Sweden not to expect Turkey`s support on its NATO bid after Rasmus Paludan burned a copy of the Quran on Saturday outside the Turkish Embassy.

Rasmus Paludan, a far-right politician and extremist is the head of the Stram Kurs (Hard Line) party in Denmark. The Quran was burned during many of his rallies, which caused violent protests and the destruction of vehicles. In Stockholm last week, he burned an effigy of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president.

The violence was sparked by a series of rallies organised by the Danish-Swedish politician Rasmus Paludan. He says he has burned a copy of Islam`s holy book and wants to do so again.
