Lok Adalats eased courts' pressure, decided 8.2 cr cases:Judge
The already over-burdened judiciary has been aided by the alternate dispute redressal mechanism of Lok Adalats which have decided 8.25 crore pre- litigation and pending cases in over 15.14 sittings in the last two decades, senior Supreme Court judge T S Thakur said on Monday.

After Dadri, veterans want grievance redressal mechanism
A conglomerete of organisations of ex-servicemen, which has been agitating for 'One Rank, One Pension', on Friday raked up the Dadri case and demanded grievance redressal mechanism for the servicemen and their families in the wake of killing of the father of an Air Force corporal.
