Big win for 'Ram Mandir': UP’s Ram Temple tableau on Rajpath bags first prize
UP govt’s Ram Temple tableau on the Rajpath has bagged the first prize. The tableau depicting the ancient cultural heritage of the holy town of Ayodhya and a replica of a Ram temple was displayed during Republic Day Parade 2021. When the Ram temple tableau was displayed during the Republic Day Parade, hundreds of spectators were seen welcoming it with the folded hands. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will give the first prize for this tableau to the Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday.

Farmers to hold tractor rally to protest against Centre's farm laws; tight security in Delhi
The Samkyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of 41 unions leading protests against the Centre's farm laws, has said their tractor parade will not enter central Delhi and it will start only after the official Republic Day parade on Rajpath concludes. The unions said around two lakh tractors are expected to participate in their parade, which will move into the city from three border points--Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur (UP Gate).

Republic Day 2021: No shoulder to shoulder march-past by NSG commandos this year
NSG commandos will be marching with a distance of more than 1.5 metres from each other. Earlier, they used to march down Rajpath from shoulder to shoulder. The distance will be visible from a distance as NSG commandos will be following the COVID-19 protocols.
