DNA: Is mob lynching 'justified' in Punjab?
Two cases of sacrilege have been reported in Punjab in the last two days. The first case came from the Golden Temple in Amritsar and the second came from a gurdwara in Kapurthala. At both places, the accused were thrashed to death by a furious mob. In these cases, everyone is talking about hurting religious sentiments, but no one is talking about lynching.
