Govt offloads 1.12 lakh tonnes of seized pulses in retail market
The prices have declined from the peak of Rs 200 per kg in October to Rs 160 at present due to various government measures including unearthing of hoarded stock and offloading that in the retail market.

States to release 98,000 tons seized pulses in market from next week
Dal prices are expected to cool down further in the coming days as state governments will release over 98,000 tonnes of seized pulses in the open market from next week.
