Twitter testing new feature to put current events on top
In a bid to show what people are talking about on the social network, micro-blogging website Twitter is testing a new feature wherein users` will see a list of current events at the top of their timelines.

Twitter timelines were full of complaints against the experimental change where the names mentioned would be stripped from the start of replies in the notification tab and would not be counted towards the character count in replies on iOS.
